Welcome to Auburn South Preschool
We’re so excited to have your little one attend our kinder. Here you will find helpful forms and links to navigate the journey from their first day of kinder through to transitioning to school!
Forms
-
We’ve got some great Auburn South Preschool jumpers and tops that actually withstand the rigours of kinder play and help support our preschool!
-
If you are bringing in cakes or treats for your kinder group, please ensure you fill in the attached form to let the kinder know whats included. Please ensure you check for allergies first to ensure food can be served.
-
We kindly ask that you keep your little one at home if they are sick to ensure the rest of the children and our amazing educators are not affected.
You can find the government guidelines around how long your little one needs to stay at home following an infectious disease (anything from conjunctivitis to chickenpox).
Always stay informed
We want you to be able to share in the experiences of your child and stay up to date on what’s happening in our kindergarten.
We use Storypark to communicate with our parents and carers. We include a weekly reflection which covers:
a summary of the activities and programmes undertaken during each week
reflections which give families a greater understanding of how children are learning through play, highlighted through pictures of learning experiences
linking observations and reflections to the Early Years Learning and Development Frameworks’ Learning Outcomes
the opportunity for you to add your feedback and input into the program. We enthusiastically encourage this as a collaborative partnership, with your children’s best interests at heart.
We also include any additional updates and relevant information via this site including
Important dates for each group
Event updates
Outbreaks
Parent Learning and Support and local community information
Making the transition to school is exciting, we’re here to support parents on this journey.
